Why Parkland Heights

There are so many reasons to call Parkland Heights your home.

Parkland Heights' own primary school

Pine View Primary School located in the heart of Parkland Heights opened at the start of 2021.

All of Parkland Heights is in the local area intake for the school. The state-of-the-art facilities accommodates over students from Kindergarten to Year 6 and in 2022 the school has added an Education Support Program for children with intellectual and physical disabilities.

Well renowned Mother Teresa Catholic College is on the south-west boundary of Parkland Heights on Eighty Road, catering for children Pre Kindergarten to Year 11 (with future extension up to Year 12). Ridge View Secondary College opened in 2019 and is a short drive away on Sixty Eight Road. The Regency Avenue extension opening soon will also make this a shorter cycling or walking distance.

Tranby College is a Uniting Church independent school (K-12) on Arpenteur Drive, which will also be connected through to Parkland Heights when the future shopping centre site is completed.

It's no wonder so many families already call Parkland Heights, home.

Nairn Drive Extension

The Nairn Drive extension easily connects Parkland Heights to Baldivis town centre and Kwinana Freeway via the dual carriageway.

This will also be the location for the proposed Parkland Heights Neighbourhood Centre; an easy stroll from anywhere within the development.

Imagine pushing the pram for a well earned morning coffee after walking the kids to school or popping in with the family for a Sunday afternoon treat, saying hi to your neighbours and shop owners. That's the great community life we all dream of.

There are so many reasons to love Parkland Heights

Parkland Heights’ vision is to create a masterplanned community where everything you need is right on your doorstep.

With so much already established, and much more still to come, Parkland Heights is the ultimate location to build your new dream home.

The O'Gorman family moved into their new home in Parkland Heights in 2019, hear what they have to say about family life in their new community.

Downsizing? Upsize your life

We want our community to have more without sacrificing a thing. Our smaller lots have been designed for those who don't want a large block to maintain and might not have young children needing backyard space.

You don't need to compromise, with the space for a 3 or 4 bedroom home and a smaller easy-care block enabling you to enjoy every minute outside of it.

At Parkland Heights, you can have it all. It’s quiet enough to hear bushland bird song yet close to everything you need.

Our active community is waiting to welcome you while the future shopping centre and dining precinct will be the place for me-time. In particular we recommend home sites in the Chelsea Release, stage four, with an easy walk across Arpenteur Drive to the future shopping centre, without being impacted by through traffic.

There’s also sporting clubs, green spaces and beaches beckoning. Here, a smaller block gives you a richer life.

Keep active in the community

Home sites in Parkland Heights are within close proximity to the Baldivis Sports Pavilion at Peckham Reserve, which includes two full-sized soccer pitches, a 400m athletics track, synthetic long jump run ups and pits, and a synthetic cricket wicket plus extensive clubroom facilities.

On Friday nights the Pavilion comes alive with hundreds of children and their families participating in Little Athletics and Girl Guides.

Parkland Heights is part of a much larger active community full of sporting clubs, with the local cricket and soccer teams training and playing here during the winter and summer months.

Just minutes down Eighty Road, the new Baldivis District Sporting Complex is under construction. When completed it will contain approximately eight hectares of open space. This huge project is under 2km away and completion of stage 1 is programmed for October 2022.

What an amazing neighbourhood to choose for your new home!

Green open spaces to laugh, play and explore

Boasting lush green grass and a mixture of established and new shade trees, Parkland Heights is centered around a  large 2.4ha grassed oval and children’s playground.

Covered with a large shade sail and boasting a huge 11m slide, this is among Parkland Heights’ favourite facilities. There are also two climbing forts with rope ladders and a bridge, a climbing wall and tornado swing.

Add sensory items like chimes and rainbow samba drums, and it’s easy to see why this playground is enjoyed equally by both the young and the young at heart.

Part of the Oxford Release across Nairn Drive also has a grassed open space and new playground.

And have you heard of the Baldivis Children's Forest? Go and have a look when you first drive around Parkland Heights to see if our neighbourhood is a fit for you and your family. It's only 3km away and has over 20 hectares of bushland reserve open to the public, designed specifically to nurture children's play in nature.
